The “perfect plan” doesn’t exist. Even if it did, would you really want to follow it? For me, it’s the excitement of the possibility of what could be, that gets me up in the morning. Here’s My Thoughts on Living My Personal Legend. [2 Minute Read]
“There is only one way to learn. It’s through action. Everything you need to know, you have learned through your journey.”
-The Alchemist
Far too often, we sit back and “war-game” it… we try to plan out each and every step that’ll surely get us to our intended destination…
…many times none of those steps are taken because we never have all the information we need to make a perfect plan… we can’t anticipate the things that are destined to pop up and prevent us from our end goal…
…therefore, we never take that first step… we never dare to be more than we currently are… we settle for second best and never maximize our potential…
…the above quote rings especially true, I had no idea what waited for me when I came to Southern California… I didn’t have a job or even a place to stay when I left Texas…
…one thing I did have: faith… I knew by being obedient to my calling things would workout…
“When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream.”
-The Alchemist
Call it foolish. Call it fairy tale if you wish. I’m saying this now so that I can reference it years down the road when I’m walking in the shoes of the man I’m currently visualizing myself to be…
I’m walking the path to my “Personal Legend” and merely documenting the journey. I would encourage you to do the same.
