What a crazy life this has become. This past weekend I reflected on just how awesome the past few years have been. While there has been no shortness of challenges and adversity, there has also been many great things to reflect on.
Somehow I managed to survive this near impossible feat. Actually, it was easier than I anticipated. For the record, this week I’ve been told I’m crazy more than normal. Not sure why but I didn’t see that coming.
What we tell ourselves is more important than what any external source tells us. We believe self talk and best of all, we act upon it.
Snow. Wind gusts up to 50 MPH. Clouds. Numb fingers. Famous Colorado fall colors. Surprises were displayed all throughout the weekend. How you handle the unexpected can determine a lot about your experience and the outcome.
This past weekend was sick. I did exactly what I came out to Colorado to do: get my hands dirty. A buddy and I helped work on building this cabin up on the Grand Mesa, near Grand Junction, CO.
A daring and daunting task: tackling a few mountains on Labor Day Weekend. It proved to be all we could handle.
