As of late, I have run across information that demonizes dietary fat intake. Not that this is new. Yet, I’m still shocked at the amount of material that continues to criticize dietary fat. In this article, a discussion on dietary fat, specifically saturated fat, will be the focus. Is it good or bad? Or is it more complicated than that?
Often considered a ‘healthy’ snack, nuts have raised a bit of concern for myself lately. Perhaps, they should do the same for you. Here we’ll take a look at the nutritional component of nuts and some practical implications on improving the quality of our nutrition.

Saturday’s Meal Overview: 1 lb of ground turkey. 8 whole eggs. 8 oz baked chicken. 4 oz almonds. Very real findings with practical applications.
Although not a complete failure (I did greatly decrease the time I spent in front of a screen which was the goal), my “Screen-Free Sunday” was disappointing. I neglected a critical aspect. It goes to show that anybody can fail if they’re not careful about planning things out.

I find myself looking at a screen far too often. Although the majority of the time, it’s for the sake of learning. In which case, I’m incredibly thankful for the internet. However, there’s always a point of diminishing returns. There must be stipulations.
Whether you know it or not, you eat macronutrients. If you have no clue what I’m talking about, no problem. I’m gonna tell you everything you need to know. If you have no clue what macros are, there’s a good chance you’re not counting them. Counting your macros is an effective tool to keep you on track for your health and fitness goals.

Is it just me, or do we all want to be better: better at work, better with our families, better with our spiritual walks, better with our health and fitness… I pray that we all strive for betterment each and everyday.
