Many people, myself included, have a tendency to overlook the small, but oh-so-relevant details that encompass our daily lives. We know these things matter; yet, they are very easily over-looked. It’s the little details that make the big picture that much sweeter.

Although not a complete failure (I did greatly decrease the time I spent in front of a screen which was the goal), my “Screen-Free Sunday” was disappointing. I neglected a critical aspect. It goes to show that anybody can fail if they’re not careful about planning things out.

I find myself looking at a screen far too often. Although the majority of the time, it’s for the sake of learning. In which case, I’m incredibly thankful for the internet. However, there’s always a point of diminishing returns. There must be stipulations.
Is it just me, or do we all want to be better: better at work, better with our families, better with our spiritual walks, better with our health and fitness… I pray that we all strive for betterment each and everyday. We were put on this earth to do something special. How and what we do with the time given to us depends greatly on our perception.

President’s Day is a day to honor our former presidents and our founding fathers. The ones who made it possible for us to have all the freedoms we have today. They challenged the current system and were the first rebels, you could say. And that’s something I can relate to.

I don’t believe that one must go past the means of what is necessary to explain. However, how far is too far and what is insufficient? Ironically, it’s quite complicated to question the description of simplicity. When it comes to health and fitness. Nothing is simple.

Strength. Some determine it with iron. Many believe that struggles and adversity develop strength. While others believe that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I, myself, believe that strength comes in three forms. Any inadequacies in either of the three areas will significantly effect your strength.
